Dear Michael, Stephen and all Gulfstream Employees:

We’ve been in our new home for a little over a month now, and while we’re still getting settled, we wanted to take a minute to thank you for everything you did to make our home building experience run so smoothly and quickly.

When we came in to your design center last summer and signed our contract with you, Pam and I told you that we would really like to be in our new home in time to celebrate our son Tyler’s graduation party in June. Since we weren’t scheduled to begin building until late December or early January, we knew that would be a challenge.

What we found out very quickly was that everyone at Gulfstream Homes seemed to care about our goal as much as we did. From meeting with the friendly members of your office staff to choose our colors, to dealing with our field manager, Dale Hogue, about the day-to-day building process, each of your employees seemed to have our goal in mind. We were amazed when our home was completed only four-and-a-half months from the day you started, and we ended up having several weeks to plan the party.

Speaking of Dale, we need to devote an entire paragraph of this letter to him. As we said at our closing, we hope you know what an incredible employee you have in this guy. In addition to being incredibly patient with all of our questions and comments during the building process, Dale was great at keeping us posted on each aspect of the building process. We knew what a great field manager we had when we visited the home one evening around 7:3 0, and he was still there checking on the work for that day. Needless to say, that wasn’t the only time that happened. Even now, while we’re ironing out some small details that emerged after closing, we still talk to Dale a couple times a week, and we know we have an excellent, dedicated employee working for us.

Anyway, Tyler ’s party went off without a hitch two weeks ago, and everyone had a great time. Although we haven’t had as much time to enjoy our new home as we’d like, we can’t wait for things to slow down a little bit so we can really take it all in. We love just walking around and looking at each room, and we’re looking forward to putting more of our own personal touches on each of them.

Thank you all for everything. We came to Gulfstream on the recommendation of some friends that built with you, and I can say with confidence that anyone who asks us about you will get a very positive recommendation of their own. I hope we don’t have to build another house for a long time, but if we do, we’ll give you a call.
