I apologize profusely and most sincerely for the tardiness of this message to thank you and the entire Gulfstream team for the efforts you expended in supporting and arranging for the repair of the roof leak we experienced. Your responsiveness to your customer’s needs was truly exemplary and totally in line with Gulfstream’s “Customer 1st” philosophy, and is greatly appreciated beyond measure. I am pleased to be able to report that the repairs held up perfectly, as one would hope a roof would, to the winds, rain and elements of hurricane Ian, which tore through the area less than two weeks after the work was completed. We were particularly pleased that the repairs were completed before the storm and shortly thereafter our departure for an extended out-of-country absence so that we were able to confirm we would not have to worry about further leakage while we were away. I greatly enjoyed working with Matt Solem and was impressed by his attention to detail and follow-ups.
I wanted to take a moment this holiday season and thank you all for being such a great team to work with! As you know, building a house was not in our plans at this time. Following a natural disaster and our location in Naples has only made it more challenging. Your honesty, dedication and approachable professionalism has made the experience much less stressful. This last trip down left us very excited and we can’t thank you enough for everything you are doing to build us a beautiful home. We started this relationship with Gulfstream while we were still posted overseas, then had our home custom built and completed in late summer of 2020. Despite all the challenges with our not being physically near the construction site, as well as the pandemic, our home was built as designed and we could not be more pleased. The entire Gulfstream team was highly professional and kept us apprised throughout the entire journey, from the start to the final delivery. Steve, Michael, Jeneane, Matt, Dave and EVERYONE in the Gulfstream family treated us like another family member. Whatever we had not thought of, Gulfstream was on top of it all and made the needed suggestions and tweaked whatever was necessary. Matt played an integral role as our construction manager, overseeing and QC’ing of our home construction process. We communicated with Matt regularly; he was always responsive to any change requests we made and was vital in helping us fine-tune every aspects throughout the build. Then, we watched the whole team come together to give our new home beautiful finishing touches. Our job was done with care and precision. We have been very pleased with the overall quality and craftsmanship of the construction and in the finer details and finishes of our home. Much of this credit lies with two key individuals at Gulfstream; Jeneane Bennett who helped to coordinate our design (and keep us on track) and Dale Hogue who was our direct building supervisor. They were invaluable on a daily basis in helping us navigate the many decisions and unforeseen challenges, that inevitably occur, with expert advice and concern. We felt that they conveyed to us their own sense of pride and ownership in our home and trusted their skill and counsel.
This is the 6th time we have built a new house, and you guys are at the top of the list for both the overall building process as well as the end result. We love it!
It has been an amazing process for Marilyn and I; starting with you in the initial design phase last October, the actual build with Justin beginning Feb 10th, and now the final days prior to completion. We are excited to start using the garage and can do so once the final concrete pour is complete and the floor finished with epoxy. We have great hopes that within the next 10 days all the hard work will pay off for everyone.
So, with all the efforts by everyone involved, we can claim ‘great success’ regarding this build and a heartfelt thanks goes out to each from Marilyn and I.
As first time builders we had a number of concerns about building. You and your team handled our concerns from day one through completion in a manner that made the entire project enjoyable.
All of your personnel were attentive, patient and straight forward in dealing with us. You were amazingly patient and understanding as you went through the six plus month time of working with us to develop rather detailed plans and answer all the questions that we had before we signed a contract to build.
We feel blessed that we had a great team and collaborative effort to get this house built. Highest regards of the Gulfstream group , the guidance, professionalism, attentiveness we experienced through this entire process was wonderful. We would also like to say that the subcontractors you had on site were very courteous and professional. Please pass on a special thank you to Chris (concrete guy) for completely filling the back wall with concrete, it took a beating from the winds during the storm so it was nice knowing it is a solid wall. I can remember the first time Sarah and I went into your model showroom being apprehensive because this was the first house we ever built and we had absolutely no knowledge of what it takes to build a brand new house from the ground up. We chose Gulfstream Homes for our buildout mainly for their owners reputation and tradition of well build homes. They have set procedures in place, and each step of the construction process was documented and closely coordinated which gave us piece of mind. Being an owner of a family business myself, I particularly liked to see that Stephen Peel was also personally on the job site to supervise and clarify any concerns we had.
We want to thank you for the remodeling work you just completed for us. It is hard to believe the difference in our home. The whole process was handled in such a professional and efficient manner. From the very beginning, we felt that we were getting exceptional assistance in deciding what we could accomplish within our budget. When we had to reduce the scope, you were great in helping us decide what we should try to accomplish and what could wait until a later date.
Greg was great and the key reason I went with Gulfstream Homes - Greg was patient and accommodating to the changes to get the design right before we signed. I convinced my husband to sign with your guys beausec of this work and attention to detail that Greg was able to accommodate.
