Marco Island, Florida, October 22nd, 2020– Gulfstream Homes, a Marco Island and Naples home builder, announces its sponsorship of the inaugural Wayne Purvis Christmas Golf Tournament, which took place on October 17th at Island Country Club on Marco Island. Hosted by Christmas Island Style, a community organization with a mission to unite Marco Island residents by bringing the Christmas spirit to the Island, the golf tournament was a true success. Christmas Island Style was started by Dawn Norgren in 1987 with the idea to host a handful of events to bring Christmas to Marco Island. Currently, the organization hosts many events leading up to the holiday season, including a pet parade, house decorating contest, a boat parade and more, with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus on December 19th at Veterans Community Park. Spreading cheer to the Island, Christmas Island Style has continued to bring joy through its events, offering new ways to participate year after year.
